College football’s Early National Signing Day has arrived, allowing high school prospects to start formally committing.
Eight of the top 15 prospects in Pennsylvania are from the Philadelphia area, according 247Sports’ rankings. Four of the seven players that signed with FBS institutions from Philadelphia’s St. Joseph’s Prep are among the top 15 in the state rankings according to 247Sports.
Missouri signed Matt Zollers, a quarterback from Spring-Ford High School in Royersford, Montgomery County. Four-star prospect Zollers is rated sixth among quarterbacks and second in Pennsylvania by 247Sports.

Out of the seven players from St. Joe’s Prep, two are still in Pennsylvania. Penn State University signed Cameron Smith, a four-star linebacker who 247 Sports rated sixth in Pennsylvania.
One day after Temple University hired K.C. Keeler as head coach, five players signed with the university, including three-star wide receiver Ramier Hardy.
Keeler referred to himself as a “culture builder” who would work with high school athletes to establish a foundation on North Broad Street.
“High school recruiting will always be our foundation,” Keeler said. “That’s a fabric of the team, and I believe that if you’re always taking transfers to build every gap and hole, it’s tough to really develop a culture.”
Hardy is a member of Keeler’s first Temple recruiting class.
Three-star running back Isaiah West and four-star defensive lineman Maxwell Roy are on their way to Ohio State University. In Pennsylvania, Roy and West are rated sixth and eleventh, respectively.
Anthony Sacca, a linebacker who signed with Notre Dame, is the son of a former quarterback at Penn State. Sacca is rated 12th in Pennsylvania and is a three-star prospect.
Kahlil Stewart, an offensive lineman, committed to Syracuse University. In Pennsylvania, three-star prospect Stewart is rated 20th.
Another O-lineman, Bleek Turner, committed to Monmouth University. 247 Sports did not place Turner in the top 46.
Other FBS signings in the Philadelphia area
West Virginia signed Bonner-Prendergast wide receiver Jalil Hall, a four-star prospect who was rated 10th in the state.
Penn State signed Jabree Wallace-Coleman, a three-star running back from Philadelphia’s Imhotep Institute Charter High School. In the state, Wallace-Coleman is rated fifteenth.
Stanford signed Josh Williams, a three-star offensive lineman from Delaware County’s The Haverford School.
Syracuse signed Julian McFadden, a three-star wide receiver from Philadelphia’s LaSalle College. In the state, McFadden is placed 21st.
Malvern Prep’s three-star safety Andrew Pellicciotta is attending Duke. In the state, he is rated 22nd.
Another player on his way to Duke is William Felder Jr., a three-star safety from Philadelphia’s Roman Catholic. In the state, he is rated 24th.
